The hotel was a handy base for enjoying a pretty nice area, really close to the grounds as well as high mountains. Cool nice room, central heating, and a seating area were appreciated. Its location a 10-15 minute walking distance from an expansive public park was stunning and super. I would be happy to recommend it.

Rustic boarding house with friendly hosts. Continental breakfast and optional dinner available. Great location in a quiet village. Large trampoline for kids. Popular among cyclists with bike storage and workstand. Good value for money.

The hotel is located about 1.5 miles from town, offering a pleasant walk along the river. It is also great for cycling, with a dedicated garage area for storing bikes and even a workstand for bike maintenance. The dinners provided were very hearty, and it was enjoyable to eat outside with 15 others.
Cycling shoes are not allowed within the hotel, so it's worth having a pair of slip-on shoes.

One thing we liked was the helpful host, who assisted us with the wifi services. the shared lounge area provided a nice atmosphere to unwind in after a long day.
The shared bathroom facilities were outdated and in desperate need of modernizing.

As a group of friends looking for a cozy retreat, our stay at La Marmotte was perfect. The inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. We loved the rural village location and the beautiful garden. The accommodation was well-suited for cyclists, with a dedicated garage area and even a workstand for bike maintenance. The value for money was excellent, especially compared to hotels in town. Wi-Fi may not have been the strongest, but the helpful host made sure we had everything we needed.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was perfect for my business trip, with easy access to nearby amenities and transport links. the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day and saved me time and money.
The rooms were quite basic and lacked some of the modern amenities I am accustomed to, such as a private bathroom and air conditioning. the noise from other guests could be heard throughout the hotel, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The hostel was family-run and had a rustic feel to it. the location was great and quiet, away from the main street. the breakfast was continental and standard, but the dinner was excellent, with free wine included. the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom facilities could be improved as the toilets had no locks and the light turned off automatically every 10 seconds. the blankets could also be updated as they were quite old and worn out.
